And what now ?

Bojo should be the next UK PM. Nobody knew for sure what he might do once in power, and now nobody knows if he’s got any power left, since the MPs seem decided to preclude the no-deal. Can anyone say if he’ll have time enough to unpack at 10 Downing Street ?

The new question is : and what next ?

The Brexit is a fascinating drama, with no foresseable end.

The real question behind that move is why we are together. The reason must be pretty good, for every culture to be able to stand the other. My point is that we share the same culture, in spite of national differences.

Do the UK citizens feel that they share the EU culture ? The end of the Brexit should answer to that question.

Time to think

Difficult to forecast what’s going to happen. Prorogation ? No-deal ? New deal ? Vote of no-confidence ? Referendum ? Revocation ? Nobody knows and we forget to think about the Brexit itself.

Why should the UK leave, according to the Leavers ? Because the country could be free of the EU constraint ? Because it could negotiate taxes and tariffs deals more interesting ? Because it would not have to accomodate undesired immigrants ? Because it could save the amount of its contribution to the EU budget ?

The Remainers have their answers to all these points. And try to show the advantages of not separating fron the EU. Outlining the danger of destroying the UK itself with the no-deal.

Who’s right ? Who’s wrong ? Who knows ?

I don’t hear many considerations on the reasons why the UK should be with the other European Countries. The purpose of the union. Aren’t we together to develop a peaceful European peaceful environment ? Aren’t we together to promote a humanitarian way of thinking ? The importance we attach to democracy, equality, gender respect, and so on ?

We are not together because we want to avoid the consequences of loleliness. We share a view of life. A culture. Hopes. My guess is that the UE is the expression of this unity. The idea is to live our ideas together. A mirage maybe.

The Brexit denies that beautiful idea.

I hope that Artcle 50 will be revoked, ultimately, because UK citizens will remember why we want to be together.

Crazy Brexit

From the start, the Brexit is a crazy move. Rooted in anger, fear, lies and power quest. Forgetting hope, love, unity and peace.

To develop such a crazy project, a crazy leader is needed, and Boris Johnson should be that man. Especially now, since the only negotiated deal should not be accepted by the MPs. No deal is the only realistic prospect of the Brexit. And a politician has to be completely out of his mind to consider an event that will destroy both the UK and its economy.

I don’t see how the MPs could let Bojo achieve a no deal Brexit. But that man could prorogate the British Parliament, fundamental element of the country’s democracy, in order to preserve the democratic result of the 2016 referendum.

Of course, I hope that this will not happen. And that Article 50 will be revocated. Bojo could do that too.

I am not sure that anybody may know what’s going to happen. Nor Bojo himself. Theresa May tried to insufflate a dash of rationality in the Brexit non-sense. That was hopeless. Crazy Bojo shall perform a crazy decision nobody can forecast : that’s logical.
